If I could live again - I will travel light,
If I could live again - I'll try to work bare feet
at the beginning of spring till the end of autumn.

Tea Parties: Citizen Protest or Racist Revival?
Valid protest against President Obama's health care plan or ugly racist imagery?
Even the First Lady is not immune to the racist tea baggers.
These racist tea baggers are America's greatest shame. Let's hope their collected bigotry quickly turns inward and consumes itself before any lasting damage is done. Real patriots support an America that protects all its citizens.
There is nothing more frightening than active ignorance.Goethe
The 9-12 assault on Washington DC by about 70 thousand Tea Baggers will likely be remembered as the largest display of unbridled ignorance this century. When these people state they only wish to take their country back, I want to ask them, "take it back from whom?"But I fearI already know from whom. They want to return America to the days when white skin guaranteed a job, a loan, a club membership, a nice home in the 'burbs', or just a seat on the bus. A time before you had to press #1 for English or to wait in line behind someone for whom English is their second language. Many of these simple people lived their entire lives in a white bread and mayo world that's now becoming an exotic deli perfumed by the cuisine from places they never knew existed.
"[America] will always be sucker bait for the next war until the system that sustains ignorance-as-patriotism and militant religiosity ends."
Schools to Skip Obama's Speech School districts across central Ohio learned yesterday that the list of things parents want their children protected from -- drugs, predators, violence -- now includes the president of the United States delivering a "stay in school" message.
Faced with phone calls from angry parents who don't want their children to view the Tuesday address to the nation's students by President Barack Obama, several districts have decided to just say no.
The U.S. Department of Education has billed the 15- to 20-minute speech as one that will talk to students "about persisting and succeeding in school."
But critics, fueled by talk radio and conservative bloggers, have objected nationwide, fearing the address from a high school in Virginia will cross the line into politics. Bill Bush, Columbus Dispatch
Decades of inattention to our public schools have now produced a growing herd of citizens living comfortably in a lazy state of ignorance. These apathetic voters can name the celebrity panelists on American Idol but not their congressional representatives. These same ill-informed loudmouths want to censor an American president from speaking to school children out of fear that President Obama will use this opportunity to score cheap political points. WTF? Do these people think everyone's ethics are for sale if the price is right? It's clear that this proud legion of conservatives truly believes that a liberal education does not inure the mind to the seduction of ignorance. It should be evident to anyone reviewing the anti-Obama propaganda that there's a strong racist tint to these attacks.
I never meant to say that the Conservatives are generally stupid. I meant to say that stupid people are generally Conservative.John Stewart Mill
Is Michele typical of the caliber of Juris Doctor produced by Oral Roberts University?
Bachmann: What we have to do today is make a covenant, to slit our wrists, be blood brothers on this thing. This will not pass. We will do whatever it takes.
Michele - save your state any additional embarrassment and just slit your own wrists. You can't fix stupid!
