As severe storms battered cities across America, our first responders have displayed exemplary courage in rescuing hundreds of fellow citizens from widespread floodwaters and from the wreckage of destroyed homes. These men and women are deserving of our heartfelt thanks.

Unlike the selfish, cosseted suits of Wall Street that drained the wealth from working-class Americans into the hands of those that have never lifted a finger to help anyone but themselves, our first responders, at great personal risk, provide aid and comfort and ask for nothing in return.
