Christine O'Donnell: GOP Senatorial Candidate

"It is not enough to be abstinent with other people, you also have to be be abstinent alone. The Bible says that lust in your heart is committing adultery, so you can't masturbate without lust."

"We took the Bible and prayer out of public schools. Now we're having weekly shootings. We had the 60s sexual revolution, and now people are dying of AIDS."

“And what ... if the population is increasing, so what? People aren't bad. When did humans become a bad thing? Why is it that we have to, you know, stop people from getting pregnant?”

"What's next? Orgy rooms? Menage a trois rooms? ... [Coedness] is like a radical agenda forced on college students."

"I mean, it is very difficult, I'm sure, for a man to sit there and stare at his girlfriend naked and not want to go a little bit further."

Ms. O'Donnell's statements indicate a deep-seated fear of all things sexual. In a more honest time, her immaturity and lack of intellectual depth would have limited her political career but we’re living in strange times. The eccentrics who drive Tea Party politics have no will to address the difficult issues facing 21st Century America. They are children complaining, angry voices spilling from open mouths and closed minds.
