Virginia’s Governor Kaine Signs Another Pro-Gun Bill!

Friday, March 16, 2007

Earlier this week, Governor Tim Kaine (D) signed House Bill 2106, sponsored by Delegate Carrico, into law. HB2106 repeals the authority for localities to require fingerprints for initial concealed carry permit applicants.

Please contact Governor Kaine at (804) 786-2211 or email by visiting to thank him for signing this critical legislation, and also encourage him to sign the pro-gun bills currently awaiting his action. The National Rifle Association.

"America now reengineering itself via a technological processes that creates the culture, work, competition and self that is no longer 'made in America' or made anywhere other than in technological space and whose future may well be played out in the only realm that America still holds the edge — violence both inside and outside the nation." David Cook, Scarborough College, University of Toronto

Gov. Tim Kaine may have second thoughts on signing another pro-gun bill after today's carnage at Virginia Tech. I'm sure his NRA contacts are drafting a position paper suggesting that the death toll would have been less had students carried concealed weapons.. Gov. Kaine made good on his campaign promise to "Keep Virginia Moving Ahead," they now hold the title of the worst mass slaughter in American history.

Guns don't kill people - people kill people. Guns only facilitate the process.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the families, friends, and co-workers of those 30+ killed at VT; however, this only represents from 1/3 to 1/2 of the monthly death toll for American solders in Iraq. Try to imagine 2 Virginia Tech slaughters occurring every 3 to 4 weeks and you'll understand the tragic loss experienced by our military families.

It's just crazy not to have stricter gun buying laws. We don't let people drive cars unless they pass a test and prove they're competent, so we shouldn't accept less when it comes to buying a gun.

By the way, I ordered the home brew kit you recommended and my husband loved it. He brewed up the Red Ale kit and it's all bottled and just waiting to be opened. Thanks for the tip. Midwest was very helpful.
